Mortgage Rates Continue to get worse

Mortgage rates have continues to get worse on us. Lots of things going on here, but the big one is the hovering fear of inflation. Costs are continuing to go up, with is going to put pressure the Fed to increase rates faster than planned. They are also going to be tapering sooner rather than later. That means they are going to stop purchasing mortgage backed securities, which will make rates go higher.

Here is the rate graph..Red is bad, green is good. We are probably up almost .25% in rate since two weeks ago.
